The dynamic load test on piles is an efficient method to verify pile capacity using an impact force applied at the top of the pile while monitoring its response with a Pile Driving Analyzer. This test measures stress waves traveling down and back up the pile, assessing penetration resistance and property changes, and is applicable for both driven and cast-in-place piles. This test requires minimal equipment and has a small site footprint, causing little disruption to construction operations. Detailed analysis of pile resistance and integrity is conducted using the CAPWAP computer program.
